Joy of joys: a 3 minute recap of Brawl massiveness

It’s EXTREMELY hard for an ex Melee obsessed gamer like myself to not be excited about Mr. Sakurai’s latest masterpiece aka Smash Bros Brawl.

Said videogame delayer developer has posted an interesting video on his “updated daily” Dojo: a nice 3 minute recap of all the gameplay and not so gameplay modes available in the game.. MASSIVE!

More cake.. or more lies?

Little is not already known about the 2007 critically acclaimed, very fun and unusual Portal by Valve.

News is there’s going to be MORE Portal, more cakes to lie about and more motion sickness! Valve spokesperson Doug Lombardi recently told Eurogamer:

There’ll be more Portal, for sure. But the details of that, to be honest, we’re still working out.

A sequel? Add-on levels? An expansion pack? Only the future will tell.. Or Maybe GLaDOS knows something..

Oh hi, I upgraded your firmware

Sony has done it again, another firmware update is hitting PSPs all around the world.. was it necessary?

For once, I say YES! …

Nah.. Just kidding.. BUT the new 3.90 introduces Skype and a nice little messenger! Do you have a microphone for your psp? No? Oh well then.. Don’t update..

On another note, a homebrew version of skype was available for Custom Firmware PSPs since the dawn of time..

The Force is strong in these 3 Physics Engines

Realism over everything else seems to be the motto of the latest in the Star Wars videogame series titled (smartly) “The Force Unleashed”

Call of Duty 4 is 2007’s Top Seller

2007 was an FPS year, that is a fact. But which one prevailed?

Activision’s latest press release reveals that its very own Call of Duty 4 kicked Halo 3, Bioshock and everyone else in the groin, selling over 7 million copies worldwide.

In a nice moment of “we kicked everybody’s ass” Activision reps claimed:

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has garnered critical acclaim, securing more than 18 perfect score reviews and over 40 combined Editors’ Choice and Game of the Year awards in the U.S. alone. The game has been nominated for 10 prestigious Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences awards, including Game of the Year. Oh, the irony… Halo 3 sold more in the U.S.! Apparently Modern Warfare is everybody’s favourite sport…

Engadget’s Air test: it’s slow!

Well, the fact that ultra slim =/= ultra fast is nothing new, but could we all imagine how slow the new Macbook Air is when it first launched around last week? Probably not.

Engadget tested the “world’s thinnest laptop”, and the stats are quite overwhelming.. Does it matter? Engadget says nay.. I say YES!

The super slim Mac retails for a whooping $1800 (with very few optionals at disposal) yet its specs pale compared to other Macbooks that are years older. Sure, nobody buys a laptop expecting a powerhouse out of it, but seriously Steve.. 1.6ghz?

It’s good to have a girlfriend that knows what you want..

When my fiance’ Susy saw this wonderful Mario hat on one of her comic store’s mail-order catalogs she just couldn’t say no.. But wait.. what? It’s a pillow?

Still, a fine product and definitely worth the money.. Which in my case was $0.. Random non holiday gifts? I love ‘em..
